Projects in America

The "Why"

As we serve the Indian community, we also strive to better the community around us. As an organization based out of Jacksonville, we would like to help several organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and United Way with their hygiene and food requirements as this pandemic continues to sweep across our communities and wreak havoc.

Mainspring Academy is a school for children with intellectual and developmental differences. Their goal is to strive to help students reach their fullest potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Ummid a Hope helped them with basic day to day supplies.

Ronald McDonald

Houses

The Ronald McDonald House provides stability and resources to families of hospitalized kids with expenses of staying together and receiving basic medical care. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the house in Jacksonville was forced to shut down and families had to be relocated. Ummid a Hope supported the families with basic needs.

Hunger Fights

Hunger Fight is a nonprofit agency that produces shelf-stable/packaged meals that are flavorful, nutritious, and easy to prepare in boiling water. Hunger Fights mission is to  end hunger and illiteracy through the provision of nutritious meals and books to children, seniors and families in need by informing, engaging and mobilizing communities and partners. Ummid A Hope supported them with their meal projects.

United Way is a nonprofit organization which fights for the health, education, and financial stability of neighbors in the local communities. They constantly focus on raising funds to address the local issues in the community. Ummid A Hope helped the families with their food needs.
